Crush Cut

For Crush Cut tools, the upper cylinder cuts the material by crushing it against the anvil cylinder.

The Crush Cut procedure has proved to be very successful with cutting non woven material as e.g. baby diapers, incontinence products, health care, coffee filters etc.

Also the packaging industry has great results with Crush Cut as well as manufacturers of e.g. battery grinds.

RP Method

Rotary Pressure dies cut material between cutting edges, one on the upper die and one on the lower die.
The die patterns are designed so that the upper and lower cutting edges interact in a rolling pressure action. This interaction cleanly parts the material without the cutting edges contacting on another.
